I was dragged out of bed early to go for a “ride”, unknown destiny. We wound up on the Vicentine Coast in Algarve, Aljezur to be precise. The weather was rough, cold and windy, almost like winter whilst in July. However the fisherman still have families to feed, so they end up sitting on the edge of the cliff waiting for the daily catch.

We spent the summer hiking along the coast and little bays like this one always meant more food, sweets and a cold brew.

Shot taken in Sagres, Portugal in Tonel beach. A very popular beach among the surfer community. They are actually included in the frame, if you zoom far enough.

Took my new DJI Mavic for a proper "virgin voyage" above the incredible coast line of south Portugal a while ago. Hopefully I will get around the video footage soon.

Photo just taken before our kayaking tour by the shores of Portugal, it truly was something out of the normal and something you want to experience!

Waves of Portugal on a beach. The view from the top is usually less terrifying but in this waters you would be fine and cosy.

Having finished our cocktails we hit the beach in Albufeira, Portugal. We had taken the cocktail umbrellas that were in our drinks and stuck them in the sand. They looked like tiny beach parasols!

Where the old town meets the sea, a steep cliff drops down to the Atlantic and allows for great views over the Atlantic and the city.

Not a technically challenging picture but it’s bright, crisp and colourful - so I like it! I’m a sucker for bright colours and contrast. It was taken in Portugal in a little village up in the hills north of Loulé.

There was a time when I felt complete. When I had something to believe in, a place to call ‘home’, something to return to. Something to dream of. But time takes its toll and all you’re left with are memories. Good and bad, it’s all that you have. Behind every picture is a story, but some stories have to be abandoned and forgotten. This one is that kind of story…

A walk along the beach of Costa da Caparica in a heat of 38 ºC nothing better than refreshing with a good and cold Super Bock. Um passeio pela praia da Costa da Caparica em um calor de 38 ºC nada melhor do que refrescar com uma boa e gelada Super Bock.

Shot of a bird flying over my head at the beach in Costa de Caparica. Caparica - located in the opposite side of Lisbon along the Tago river - is a famous spot for surfers, mainly beginners, in Portugal.

Stumble upon this sunset in the last 5 minutes of exploring Chiado in Lisbon. I was visiting for the first time and my boyfriend was showing me around his city. The soft hues, ambiance, and timing were perfect. I immediately fell in love with this city and understood why my boyfriend loves it so much, too.

Lissabon is a really beautiful city with small hill sides. Trams are there to transport to climb up the hills. The narrow dirty streets makes the city a life. The color combinations also show how beautiful and diverse Lissabon is.

I was walking on the Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon when I saw this couple walking to the alley, it was just after noon, there was something about this scene that made me take my camera and take a picture.

Lisbon is a city that that is affordable and relaxing. The people who live in Lisbon aren’t in too much of a rush. Visiting this city you can travel at ease, eat delicious food, visit beautiful museums and visit a beautiful place such as Monastery Jeronimos. Lisbon is my second favourite city. I told my dad I may move there one day.
